Ingredients
- Spaghetti or any pasta of your choice
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Minced garlic
- Red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Beef (ground or diced, based on preference)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the rest.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, adding minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the ground beef, cooking until browned and fully cooked. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well with the beef and garlic mixture. If necessary, add reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce’s consistency.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving hot.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice before serving. Adjust seasonings to taste during cooking.
