Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, milk, diced onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and parsley together until just combined.
- Carefully shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a loaf pan.
- Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added moisture, consider sautéing the onions and garlic before mixing. You can customize by adding grated carrots or zucchini.
