Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, milk, diced onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and parsley together until just combined.
  3. Carefully shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a loaf pan.
  4. Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  5. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For added moisture, consider sautéing the onions and garlic before mixing. You can customize by adding grated carrots or zucchini.
