Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add the diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
- Sprinkle flour over the chicken and stir until coated.
- Pour in the chicken broth gradually, stirring to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and incorporate the sour cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with parsley before serving.
