Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken with a rich creamy sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add the diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the chicken and stir until coated.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth gradually, stirring to combine and bring to a simmer.
  7. Reduce heat and incorporate the sour cream, stirring until the sauce is smooth.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes
