Description

A deliciously simple salmon dish glazed with honey and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Mince garlic, chop green onions, and get salmon fillets ready.
  2. Make the Honey Garlic Glaze: Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  4. Glaze and Finish Cooking: Turn salmon, pour glaze over, and cook for another 4-6 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Remove salmon from skillet and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Best served with jasmine rice or steamed broccoli. Can substitute honey with maple syrup for different sweetness.
