Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Mince garlic, chop green onions, and get salmon fillets ready.
- Make the Honey Garlic Glaze: Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Glaze and Finish Cooking: Turn salmon, pour glaze over, and cook for another 4-6 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
- Serve and Garnish: Remove salmon from skillet and garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
Best served with jasmine rice or steamed broccoli. Can substitute honey with maple syrup for different sweetness.
