Description

This Italian-inspired chicken meatloaf features savory chicken, gooey mozzarella, and tangy marinara for a delightful twist on a classic comfort dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crispy breadcrumbs for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and form into a loaf shape.
  4. Transfer the meatloaf into a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread marinara sauce generously over the top and sprinkle with crispy breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
