Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced bell pepper and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the ground chicken, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, approximately 7–10 minutes.
  5. Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring well to combine the flavors.
  6. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, ensuring the spices are evenly distributed.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
