Description

A simple and juicy oven-baked chicken breast recipe that’s perfect for any meal, packed with flavor and versatile enough for a variety of dishes.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., oregano, thyme) (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them evenly with the mixture.
  5. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Allowing the chicken to rest helps retain its juices. Marinate for added flavor if desired.
