Description

A delightful bowl featuring marinated beef, vibrant vegetables, and fluffy rice, combining savory flavors for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • Cooked rice
  • Assorted vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Begin by slicing the steak into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. While the beef marinates, cook your rice according to package instructions.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, add your veggies and sauté until tender but still crisp.
  6. Combine the rice and stir-fried veggies in bowls, then top with the beef.
  7. Finish by garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For best results, reheat in a pan or microwave. Feel free to experiment with different proteins and add tropical fruits for sweetness.
