Description

A quick and easy recipe for lemon garlic butter salmon that is zesty and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets
  • Unsalted butter
  • Garlic cloves, minced
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, and combine well.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the lemon-garlic butter sauce over the salmon, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley just before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute olive oil for the butter. This recipe can also be made with trout or chicken.
