Description

A handheld delight that merges nachos and tacos into a delicious wrap, perfect for quick dinners or lunch or family brunches.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Allow this to simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  3. Lightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for better flexibility.
  4. Spread a hearty amount of nacho cheese sauce across each tortilla. Layer on the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped onions.
  5. Carefully roll each tortilla, tucking in the sides to create a secure wrap.
  6. Serve immediately with a side of sour cream, if desired.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider swapping ground beef for turkey or a meat substitute. Experiment with different types of cheese or additional toppings like jalapeños.
