Description
A handheld delight that merges nachos and tacos into a delicious wrap, perfect for quick dinners or lunch or family brunches.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water. Allow this to simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
- Lightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for better flexibility.
- Spread a hearty amount of nacho cheese sauce across each tortilla. Layer on the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped onions.
- Carefully roll each tortilla, tucking in the sides to create a secure wrap.
- Serve immediately with a side of sour cream, if desired.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider swapping ground beef for turkey or a meat substitute. Experiment with different types of cheese or additional toppings like jalapeños.
