Description

Loaded nachos are a crowd-pleasing dish of crunchy tortilla chips topped with melted cheese, seasoned beef, and vibrant veggies, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces tortilla chips
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • Cooked ground beef
  • Sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 can black beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Sour cream and guacamole (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread out the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chips, then layer on the cooked ground beef, jalapeños, and black beans.
  4. Add diced tomatoes on top for a burst of freshness.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of sour cream and guacamole.

Notes

For optimal results, use a mix of cheeses. You can prep toppings ahead of time and assemble just before baking.
