Wellness Chef & Everyday Meal Prep Coach | Founder of Simple Daily Meals | Mom & Kitchen Enthusiast | Age 38
Austin based meal prep mentor who believes healthy eating should be simple, joyful, and sustainable.
My Story
I didn’t grow up in a family that loved to cook. In fact, for most of my early adult life, meal times felt stressful, rushed, and often uninspired. As a young mom juggling work, parenting, and everything in between, I often relied on takeout or last minute dinners that left me feeling drained and guilty.
When I realized my energy, focus, and overall health were slipping because of my eating habits, I knew something had to change. I slowly started experimenting with meal prep, discovering how even a little planning could transform my week. What began as survival quickly became a passion and eventually, a calling to help others who were struggling with the same overwhelm.
The Turning Point
My true turning point came one evening when my son asked why we always ate in such a rush. His question hit me harder than any doctor’s warning could. I realized that food wasn’t just about fueling our bodies it was about creating space for connection, calm, and joy.
From that day forward, I committed to making our meals simple, intentional, and nourishing. I began developing systems for meal prep that fit busy schedules without sacrificing flavor or fun. Seeing the difference it made in my family’s energy and mood fueled me to share these methods with other busy moms, professionals, and families who needed the same relief.
What I Learned the Hard Way
I tried every complicated meal plan, spent too much money on exotic ingredients, and wasted hours batch cooking meals no one in my house actually wanted to eat. I learned the hard way that food doesn’t need to be fancy to be fulfilling.
The secret wasn’t perfection it was simplicity. Once I embraced this, meal prep stopped being a chore and started being a lifestyle that worked for me, not against me.
My Approach Now
These days, my approach is all about balance and ease. I focus on using fresh, accessible ingredients, creating flexible meal prep systems, and showing people how to save time without sacrificing taste. I love helping clients uncover the little shifts that make a huge difference like prepping ingredients ahead of time or reimagining leftovers into exciting meals.
Whether it’s through my online guides, workshops, or personal coaching, I aim to help people feel confident in the kitchen while freeing up more time for what truly matters.
