Description

These smashburger quesadillas combine juicy beef, melted cheese, and crispy tortillas for a delightful meal perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning blend
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or blend)
  • Various toppings (diced onions, pickles, jalapeños)
  • Cooking oil (for skillet)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and season with your chosen blend.
  2. Lay a tortilla on a flat surface and sprinkle half with cheese, followed by the cooked beef and desired toppings.
  3. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing down gently to seal.
  4. Heat a little oil in the skillet over medium heat. Cook the quesadilla for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute, then cut into wedges.
