Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: herbs like parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat along with chopped onions until they are soft.
- In a large bowl, mix together cooked macaroni, ground beef, milk, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for about 40 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
