Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Begin by peeling and dicing the ripe mangoes into small chunks.
- Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño, then combine them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the diced mango to the bowl, along with the chopped cilantro.
- Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture, adding salt to taste.
- Toss everything gently until well combined.
- Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
Notes
For a milder flavor, swap red onion for green onion. You can also use lemon juice instead of lime juice for a different twist.
