Description

A vibrant and refreshing mango salsa perfect for dipping or as a topping for grilled dishes.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt, to taste


Instructions

  1. Begin by peeling and dicing the ripe mangoes into small chunks.
  2. Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño, then combine them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the diced mango to the bowl, along with the chopped cilantro.
  4. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture, adding salt to taste.
  5. Toss everything gently until well combined.
  6. Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

For a milder flavor, swap red onion for green onion. You can also use lemon juice instead of lime juice for a different twist.
