Description

Tender chicken thighs marinated in a sweet maple and garlic glaze, paired with crispy beef bacon for a delightful dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 strips of beef bacon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinaded chicken thighs, skin side down, and sear until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Add chopped beef bacon to the pan, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze individual portions in freezer-safe bags for up to 3 months.
