Description
Tender chicken thighs marinated in a sweet maple and garlic glaze, paired with crispy beef bacon for a delightful dish.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 strips of beef bacon, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinaded chicken thighs, skin side down, and sear until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Add chopped beef bacon to the pan, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze individual portions in freezer-safe bags for up to 3 months.
