Description

Delicious Mediterranean meatballs infused with garlic and spices, perfect for gatherings and game nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or lamb
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Tzatziki sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, roughly 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until golden brown on all sides and thoroughly cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the meatballs to a serving plate and enjoy warm with tzatziki sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or use gluten-free breadcrumbs. Marinating the meat mixture for an hour can enhance flavors.
