Description

A comforting slow-cooked pot roast with savory ranch and au jus flavors, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 6-8 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers, and pour the beef broth around the roast.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.
  5. Once done, shred the meat with two forks and serve with the delicious cooking juices.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, sear the roast and consider adding jalapeños or Worcestershire sauce.
