Description

Juicy chicken breasts cooked in a creamy ranch sauce, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • Pepperoncini peppers, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the stick of butter.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the chicken broth and ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  4. Add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and well combined.
  5. Drop in the pepperoncini peppers, then cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness, and once cooked through, plate and drizzle with sauce.

Notes

For a lighter option, swap the chicken for turkey. You can also marinate the chicken for a few hours in buttermilk or yogurt for added tenderness.
