Description
Juicy chicken breasts cooked in a creamy ranch sauce, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 package ranch seasoning mix
- 1 stick of butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- Pepperoncini peppers, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the stick of butter.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Pour the chicken broth and ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
- Add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and well combined.
- Drop in the pepperoncini peppers, then cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Check for doneness, and once cooked through, plate and drizzle with sauce.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap the chicken for turkey. You can also marinate the chicken for a few hours in buttermilk or yogurt for added tenderness.
