Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz noodles (like egg or rice noodles)
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: green beans, carrots, or other veggies for extra nutrition
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sesame oil. Once hot, add in the ground beef. Brown thoroughly, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and any additional vegetables you’re using. Sauté everything together for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
- Incorporate the soy sauce and oyster sauce, allowing the mixture to simmer for another couple of minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and add them to the skillet once ready.
- Gently toss everything together, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
