Description

A hearty dish blending comforting noodles with savory ground beef, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles (like egg or rice noodles)
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green beans, carrots, or other veggies for extra nutrition

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sesame oil. Once hot, add in the ground beef. Brown thoroughly, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and any additional vegetables you’re using. Sauté everything together for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
  4. Incorporate the soy sauce and oyster sauce, allowing the mixture to simmer for another couple of minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and add them to the skillet once ready.
  6. Gently toss everything together, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For added nutrition, feel free to add more vegetables. Adjust quantities based on your taste preferences or dietary needs.
