Description
Marinated chicken breasts in a delicious honey garlic sauce that captivates the palate and infuses the kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade (discard excess) and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, consider grilling the marinated chicken for a smoky touch. You can also spice it up with chili flakes or add fresh herbs to the marinade.
