Description

Marinated chicken breasts in a delicious honey garlic sauce that captivates the palate and infuses the kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade (discard excess) and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider grilling the marinated chicken for a smoky touch. You can also spice it up with chili flakes or add fresh herbs to the marinade.
