Description

These delightful protein balls capture the essence of cake batter while providing a nutritious snack perfect for post-workout or movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut butter)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, nut butter, oats, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Mix everything together until well combined and a dough forms. If the mixture feels too dry, add more nut butter or honey.
  3. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. If desired, roll in sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute nut butter with sunflower seed butter. You can also freeze for up to three months.
