Description

Nutritious and customizable snack that satisfies sweet cravings while packing a protein punch.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter for a nut-free option)
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan alternative)
  • ¼ cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tbsp mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, creamy peanut butter, ground flaxseed, honey, protein powder, vanilla extract, and mini chocolate chips.
  2. Use a spatula or your hands to mix everything well until a dough forms.
  3. Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Continue until all the mixture is shaped.
  4. Place the balls on a lined baking sheet or plate. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to firm them up.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Chilling enhances texture but can be skipped if in a rush.
