Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the pasta and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
- Reduce heat and gradually add the cream and Parmesan, stirring until smooth.
