Description
A comforting one-pot meal featuring tender chicken, pasta, and a creamy garlic honey parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 ounces of pasta (penne works great)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally.
- Once the pasta is tender, reduce the heat. Mix in the heavy cream, honey, and parmesan, stirring until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Adjust seasoning if needed, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes to meld the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, sear the chicken until it’s nicely browned. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days, or frozen for up to three months.
