Description
Crispy Parmesan-coated pork chops that are easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners or entertaining.
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for pan-searing) or cooking spray (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F if baking.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese with breadcrumbs until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and season them with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Dip each pork chop first in the egg, then roll them in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture until coated completely.
- For Baking: Arrange the coated chops on a greased baking sheet, spray the tops lightly with cooking spray, and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reads 145°F.
- For Pan-searing: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chops for 4–5 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
