Description

A comforting dish combining savory chicken, pasta, and a creamy sauce, perfect for family dinners or entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until both sides are golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  5. Stir in the herbs and cheese, letting the sauce simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it soak in the flavors for a few minutes.
  8. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet, mixing everything together.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and additional cheese if desired.

Notes

For an elevated dining experience, serve with garlic bread and a salad. Cherry tomatoes or spinach can add freshness.
