Description

A warm and comforting chicken casserole that combines shredded chicken with creamy ingredients and a crispy topping, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and mixed vegetables. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add half of the cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed crackers with the remaining cheese and chicken broth. Spread this topping over the casserole mixture.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crispy.

Notes

Pairs well with a side salad, garlic bread, or biscuits. Can be stored in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to two months.
