Description

A vibrant and flavorful grilled chicken dish marinated with spices and served with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 jalapeños (adjust for heat)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine minced garlic, cumin, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs and coat thoroughly; marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill chicken thighs for about 6-8 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. While the chicken grills, combine avocado, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, minced garlic, jalapeños, and salt in a blender; blend until smooth and creamy.
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the chicken with a generous drizzle of creamy green sauce on top.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can substitute chicken breasts, but be mindful of cooking times.
