Description

A vibrant wrap featuring marinated chicken, creamy avocado, and crispy beef bacon, all nestled in a fresh tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup pesto, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 4 slices of beef bacon (cooked until crispy)
  • 4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup mixed salad greens
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Lemon juice (optional, for seasoning)


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in pesto for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat or grill until fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes each side), ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing it into strips.
  4. Lay out the tortillas and layer each with salad greens, sliced chicken, avocado, and crispy beef bacon.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly and slice it in half, securing with a toothpick if desired.
