Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Provolone or Cheddar)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, diced onion, diced bell pepper, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until they are well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a suitable baking dish.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added moisture, mix in a tablespoon of ketchup or barbecue sauce. For spice, add chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
