Description

A delicious fusion of classic cheesesteak flavors with the comforting heartiness of meatloaf, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Provolone or Cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, diced onion, diced bell pepper, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients until they are well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a suitable baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  6. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added moisture, mix in a tablespoon of ketchup or barbecue sauce. For spice, add chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
