Description

Delightful crescent rolls filled with pecan pie goodness, perfect for festive gatherings or a cozy dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, beaten egg, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough; separate it into triangles.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the pecan mixture onto each triangle and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the point and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
