Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sweet and spicy pepper jelly
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
- Gently press each square into a greased muffin tin to create small cups.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with a few tablespoons of pepper jelly until well combined.
- Fill each pastry cup generously with the cream cheese mixture.
- Top each filled cup with an additional spoonful of pepper jelly.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg to achieve a beautiful golden color.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and fluffy.
- Allow to cool slightly, then garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
