Description

Tender, flavorful bites of salmon cooked to perfection in an air fryer, great for quick weeknight meals or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds salmon (skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into uniform 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning mix.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon cubes and gently toss to coat.
  5. Gradually sprinkle the seasoning mix over the salmon, tossing again to ensure an even coating.
  6. Place the salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for approximately 6-7 minutes until fully cooked and flaky.

Notes

For a different flavor profile, substitute brown sugar with honey or experiment with your favorite seasoning blends.
