Description

A comforting and nutritious dish featuring tender boiled cabbage infused with flavorful seasonings.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups vegetable broth (or beef broth)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for a kick


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the chopped cabbage, coating it with the onion mixture.
  4. Pour in the vegetable or beef broth, and add salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot.
