Description
A classic chicken pot pie filled with tender chicken, savory vegetables, and topped with golden, flaky biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (like peas and carrots)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup milk
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Open the biscuit dough and place the biscuits evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to swap out vegetables for favorites like broccoli or corn. For a different flavor, cheese sauce can replace the cream of chicken soup.
