Description

A classic chicken pot pie filled with tender chicken, savory vegetables, and topped with golden, flaky biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (like peas and carrots)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and place the biscuits evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap out vegetables for favorites like broccoli or corn. For a different flavor, cheese sauce can replace the cream of chicken soup.
