Description

A creamy and flavorful chicken dish perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Heavy cream or dairy alternative
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and cream, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Season with onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or a plant-based cream.
