A delightful pasta dish combining garlic and Parmesan, perfect for cozy evenings.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Toss in the drained pasta and combine, adding reserved pasta water as necessary to create a silky sauce.
- Remove from heat, stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
