Description

A delightful pasta dish combining garlic and Parmesan, perfect for cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the drained pasta and combine, adding reserved pasta water as necessary to create a silky sauce.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well coated.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat.
