Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until combined, then spread it evenly over the batter.
- Layer sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the remaining batter over the strawberries.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
