Description

A delightful cake layered with fresh strawberries and creamy fillings, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until combined, then spread it evenly over the batter.
  5. Layer sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the remaining batter over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
