Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 8 oz pasta (like fettuccine or penne)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens and is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to combine. Add the cooked pasta and mix until well-coated in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
