Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated cheese (such as mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. For a heartier dish, cook until just al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the broccoli and chicken broth, simmering until the broccoli is tender.
  4. Once the pasta is ready, drain and add it to the skillet along with the shredded chicken, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the cheese until melted and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Serve warm, garnishing with additional cheese or herbs if desired.

Notes
