Description

A warm and hearty chicken casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups pasta (such as rotini or penne)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheese, peas, garlic powder, and the cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, sauté onions and garlic before mixing. For a cheesier dish, add more cheese on top before baking.
