A warm and hearty chicken casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 2 cups pasta (such as rotini or penne)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheese, peas, garlic powder, and the cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, sauté onions and garlic before mixing. For a cheesier dish, add more cheese on top before baking.
