Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Combine the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken strips, allowing them to cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider serving with jasmine rice or a fresh cucumber salad. Marinate overnight for a more pronounced flavor.
