Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 ripe mango, pureed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated chicken strips, allowing them to cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Consider serving with jasmine rice or a fresh cucumber salad. Marinate overnight for a more pronounced flavor.
