Description

Tender and flavorful slow-cooked chicken that’s perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Transfer the onions and garlic into the slow cooker.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on top of the onion-garlic mixture.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper on top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  8. Shred the chicken before serving and stir it back into the sauce.

Notes

For richer flavor, substitute chicken thighs or use vegetable broth for a lighter option. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar for extra brightness.
