Description
Tender chicken bites coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil in a bowl to create the marinade.
- Toss the chicken pieces into the marinade, ensuring they’re fully coated. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
- Add the marinated chicken, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute chicken breast with thigh meat. Marinate longer for deeper flavor absorption.
