Description

Crispy chicken thighs bathed in a fiery blend of sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce (preferably sweet)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Toss the chicken thighs into the marinade and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  5. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with fluffy rice or quinoa, and pair with steamed vegetables for a balanced meal. For extra flavor, add sesame seeds or more green onions.
