Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup chili sauce (preferably sweet)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Toss the chicken thighs into the marinade and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
