Description

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth (or stock)
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs, such as thyme or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, placing them at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup until fully blended. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is incredibly tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker, stirring it into the gravy for maximum flavor.
Notes
For added depth, sear the chicken before placing it in the slow cooker. Experiment with different herbs or the type of soup for variation.
