Description

Comforting honey garlic pork chops cooked in a slow cooker, enveloped in a sweet and savory glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mashed potatoes, rice, or salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground ginger until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned pork chops into the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over them.
  4. Cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the pork is fork-tender.
  5. Serve the succulent chops over mashed potatoes, fluffy rice, or a crisp fresh salad.

Notes

If you’re out of honey, brown sugar works as a great substitute for a similar sweetness.
