Description

A heartwarming classic beef roast, tender and infused with savory flavors, perfect for gatherings or cozy family nights.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs beef roast (chuck roast works well)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1-2 cups beef broth
  • 4-5 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef roast with salt and pepper, ensuring a generous coating.
  2. Place the roast in a slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the meat.
  4. Add the beef broth around the roast, avoiding pouring it directly on top.
  5. Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is incredibly tender.
  7. Once done, shred the beef in the slow cooker, mix with the juices, and serve warm.

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider searing the beef in a skillet before placing it in the slow cooker. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for about 3 months.
