Description
A heartwarming classic beef roast, tender and infused with savory flavors, perfect for gatherings or cozy family nights.
Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs beef roast (chuck roast works well)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1-2 cups beef broth
- 4-5 pepperoncini peppers
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper, ensuring a generous coating.
- Place the roast in a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the meat.
- Add the beef broth around the roast, avoiding pouring it directly on top.
- Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is incredibly tender.
- Once done, shred the beef in the slow cooker, mix with the juices, and serve warm.
Notes
For deeper flavor, consider searing the beef in a skillet before placing it in the slow cooker. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for about 3 months.
