Description

A delightful fusion of cheesy quesadillas and juicy beef burgers, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or beef substitutes)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your preference)
  • 4 flour tortillas (or corn for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 onion, diced (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Fresh toppings: diced tomatoes, lettuce, avocado

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Once cooked, remove the beef and sauté diced onions in the same skillet until softened.
  3. Place a tortilla on the skillet, layer with beef, cheese, and another tortilla on top.
  4. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
  5. Repeat for additional quesadillas and cut them into wedges before serving.

Notes

Best served hot with guacamole, fresh salsa, or a dollop of sour cream. For an extra kick, consider adding jalapeños or spicy sauce.
